200 Things I Would Never Spend Over $1 On...

** These are items that can be made or grown by you or me for possibly cheaper than a dollar. Please keep in mind we have a great gifts of ingenuinity and determination, therefore, really whatever you want to try to make yourself, you probably can, but it may not be cheaper! (For some of these ** items I have marked I have recipes, if you need them, please contact me).

***These items are things that I generally buy in bulk. By purchasing in bulk many times with these items you can pay much less per pound or ounce than you would by buying indvidually.

$ These things may be a challenge to find for under a dollar. Sometimes this is by intense strategy, that I get these at this price, but would not, could not pay anymore for them. (Unless I really had to).

The Secrets or "How I do it"...

1. As I mentioned before, there are many who live daily life by the light of their price book. If you are one of these people, do what is right and works for you. I have been extremely blessed with the gift of a fine tuned long term memory, because of this blessing; (praise God, otherwise I would running around looking for my price book all the time, never remembering where I put it)! Although I cannot remember what I was going to do two minutes ago, I can remember the price of Spam in 1983. By practice in buying these items again and again, I have developed a stubborn way of being where I refuse to pay more than the price I know. (This by the way cancels out at times my husband is with me and I'm driving him nuts).
2. I have the time, patience and effort. I am truly blessed that I am able to stay home with my kids, and as a sacrifice and a duty I make it my personal mission to make as much of the money that comes in, stay in. Others who do not have the time, effort and patience, must do the very best they can, and in the very best way they know how everyday.
3. I am an avid couponer and sale hunter. I am not above scouting down the very best price on one item.
4. I have a "Dollar Store" and I am not afraid to shop there! Some people suffer from "Dollar Store Phobia" and
