Giving and Thanks To Our Neighbors With Love

Now is the time of many great sales at grocery stores all over. Take the time, to find the items on sale and with coupon (if possible), and give to a shelter or specific family so that someone somewhere, may too, have something else to be thankful for.

The minute we stop loving one another and begin turning our backs upon one another is exactly the moment when we become the places that we are fighting with. May our hearts forever hurt and bleed and feel for those who have less. May we always see the abundance that we have, even in our tightwad worlds, so that we never cling, but instead give freely. May you be blessed and enjoy a blessed holiday.

***ALL PURPOSE MEAT MIX*** (Use this as a means to share your extra with others)! *I found this recipe on a website, and I'm sorry that I don't recall where, if you know, please help me to give credit where it is greatly due.

Meatloaves, Meatballs, Salisbury Steaks and more!

To each pound of ground beef/chuck add:

½ t. Italian seasoning 2 T catsup or tomato sauce 2 T. mustard or a bit of dry ¼ t. garlic powder 1 T. soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce sprinkle of pepper 2 slices of bread (crumbled) ¼ c. milk, or half of that and one egg. Mix well and bake @ 350* and freeze! (And Share)! .... And if the kids and neighbors eat their supper :

***HOMEMADE PUDDING MIX***(From Taste of Home magazine)

Dry Mix: (makes 9 batches) 4 c. nonfat dry milk solids 2 2/3 c. sugar 1 1/3 c. corn starch 1 to 1/3 c. baking cocoa ½ t. salt

To make pudding: (One batch)

Add one c. mix to 2 c. milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil while constantly stirring. Stir in 1 T. butter/margarine and ½ t. vanilla. Serve warm makes 4 servings
