The Pumpkin Can-Can, Without the Can

©
Page 3
  • Pumpkin does not need to be canned (can you believe it)? You can place your cooked pumpkin in baggies or containers and freeze.
  • Fresh Pumpkin may look more yellowish or bright orange than canned pumpkin, but it is still okay! (Canned has had a long time to be dehydrated, and stuffed with additives and perhaps other colorings, yours is the real McCoy)!
  • You can use the water that you cooked your pumpkin in, and save it to water your plants, they will love it! Ah! I'm over my word limit again, thanks so much; please check the discussion area for great pumpkin seed, and pumpkin recipes.

    Tightwad Blessings!
