  • Pumpkin does not need to be canned (can you believe it)? You can place your cooked pumpkin in baggies or containers and freeze.
  • Fresh Pumpkin may look more yellowish or bright orange than canned pumpkin, but it is still okay! (Canned has had a long time to be dehydrated, and stuffed with additives and perhaps other colorings, yours is the real McCoy)!
