for this reason, you may want to shy away from the yearly repotting, your plant needs, however: I have recently learned that cheap plastic containers (Dollar store perhaps), make great planters. There are always huge containers to be found for much less than even your cheapest planter, (in most cases). To make drainage holes, drill or punch them in the bottom. Your plants will love you for remembering them!
