The majority of the free sample sites that are available on the Web are not operated like Start Sampling. Most sites are amateur operated, and maintained by fellow tightwads as a courtesy. Knowing this makes all of the annoying advertisements a little more tolerable. Some other sample sites worth checking are The Free Site and #1 My Freebies.

Web searches can lead to even more free samples that may not be listed on free sample websites. To locate these, there are several basic key words to search under. Free sample, free samples, free trial, trial offer, free product and free product offer are all excellent search words.

For the best search results, be sure to try all of the above-mentioned key words. A sample that might come up under "free sample," may not come up under "free samples", and vice versa. As you gain experience, you may find other key words that work for the particular product samples you are looking for.

Aside from free samples, the Internet is also a great place to find coupons. Valupage is an excellent source for grocery coupons. Enter your zip code into the website's search engine; pick the store you shop at; and then select the coupons that interest you.

If you hate toting a large stack of coupons to the store, Valupage is the ideal solution. Rather than printing out individual coupons for each item, the site allows you to print out one barcode that works for all of the featured offers.

Coolsavings is another well-known source for coupons. While not as comprehensive as Valupage, Coolsavings is good for adding a few extra coupons to your shopping arsenal. It can also be a good source for discounts on online purchases and large restaurant chains.

To find even more coupons, turn to the search engines. If you know that you will be buying a particular item, check the company's website to see what they have to offer. Often manufacturer's reward customers for visiting the company's website.

Most diaper manufacturers offer coupons and free samples to customer's who sign up to receive company mailings; and many other companies offer printable coupons for instant store savings.
