Why Nader? Why Green?

The Green party is the only party which includes a stance against the death penalty, and against corporate welfare in their platform. Only from a third party can a credible claim be made to stand for campaign finance reform. Greens stand for grass-roots democracy, building the local economy, and assisting our fellow citizens. And yes, the Greens will fight for universal health coverage.

Ralph Nader has a reputation for fighting for the American consumer that stretches longer than the careers of either George W. Bush or Al Gore, Jr. He has never back-pedaled on an issue. He has never been afraid to stand up for an unpopular issue. He's never backed down out of fear or greed or ambition.

Al Gore, Jr., is only moderately less offensive to me than George W. Bush. He will not fight for the things I would: No executions, no corporate welfare, universal health care, and a complete overhaul of the US political system. Ralph Nader will.

You need to advertise your new column by giving the conservatives a hard time on Frank Monaldo's conservative forum.
