Music will be whatever you like and seems to fit in with the theme.

Clothing will be of great concern, but following the theme makes some of it easy. If you decide on a theme from Camelot, the look for the wedding party is of knights and damsels. A few library books or searches on the Internet will provide an idea for what these items look like. The dresses may have long tight sleeves, or puffy short ones, a tight waist and flowing skirt. It is important that the fabric look rich, brocades, velvets, and satins for winter, much lighter, more airy fabrics for warm weather events. Headdresses could be simple flower garlands or more elaborate caps or cone shaped affairs reminiscent of the time. Getting men into tights, or armor may be going a bit far, so try to make one element of their dress produce the desired effect. Maybe with the vest, cummerbund, or tunic look. Flower girls or ring bearers will be more willing to dress the part. Costumes or wedding attire, as you prefer, will be easier to construct so you will have more possible options for dressmakers. Ready to wear in prom sections or, if it does not offend you in thrift shops, will often yield good choices at low prices.

The person who wants a casual setting for the wedding can adopt a western theme with gals and guys wearing boots and cowboy hats. The bride and groom could dress in white, with the rest of the wedding party dressed in colors. The bride's cowgirl hat could even have a veil. But please don't take your guns to town. The hoedown reception could be lots of fun staged in an outdoor setting with hay bales covered with bandana cloth to seat folks. Get every musical family member you know to play and you will find the entertainment an absolute hoot. Food will be simple barbecue fare, although the wedding couple may want to forego baked beans on the menu.

As always keep food in the theme by choosing seafood for your under the Sea Place wedding, dishes both simple and special for that Renaissance theme, and dainty foods for your Fairy Woods theme. The theme for your Fairy Woods wedding should be abundant in flowers, real, or otherwise, even wild flowers. The clothes need to be sheer and pastel enough to create the illusion, but not so sheer as to start a riot. Use lots of pretty fruits, chiffon desserts, Jellos, tinted rice, and tiny tea sandwiches to add to the delicate look of the fairy woods table.
