Giving the tale a local twist is Cape May Stage (NJ) at the Welcome Center Theatre. November 24 - December 29. In Buffalo, NY, the Alleyway Theatre ("We're Doing Things Y ou Never Heard Of!") presents Neal Radice's adapation for it's 18th year. December 8 - 16. The Ulster Ballet Company presents their version at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, NY. (They invite you to visit one of their sponsors, the Dickens Restaurant in Poughkeepsie.) December 1 - 3. American Express and Theater at Madison Square Garden (New York, NY) present their annual musical version, adapted by Lynn (Seussical) Ahrens and Mike (Me and My Girl) Ockrent who also directed, with music by Alan (Beauty and the Beast) Menkin, and lyrics by Lynn (Anastasia) Ahrens. Choreographed by Susan (Contact) Stroman. This year's Scrooge: Frank Langella. December 8 - December 31. Theatre Three presents their 17th annual production on their mainstage in Port Jefferson, NY. November 25 - December 30. Appalachian State University of Boone, NC, presents Buffy Sedlachek's version, with music by Kevin Rotty. December 4. Raleigh, NC is the home of Theatre in the Park, whose production is adapted by Ira David Wood, it runs December 5 - 13. The Huntington Playhouse of Bay Village, OH has a version as told by Dickens to his family. November 30 - December 23. The Contemporary American Theatre Company of Columbus, OH, presents David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr.'s play-within-a-play version, The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society Production of A Christmas Carol. November 21 - December 31. The Toledo Repertoire Theatre (OH) presents a double-cast version. December 7 - 17. Portland Center Stage (Portland, OR), offers a production, in a version adapted by David McCann and directed by Chris Coleman. December 3 - December 24. The Civic Theatre of Allentown's (PA) version returns for its 13th year., with a new set and director -- Lenny Leibowitz, their artistic director. December 1 - 17. Cornwall, PA Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire's version, A Charles Dickens Victorian Christmas, is performed at Mount Hope Mansion, a 200-year-old Victorian estate. November 24 - December 23. Edward Alsedek adapted the version performed by Open Stage of Harrisburg, PA, part of their fifteenth year. December 1 - 31. RCT of Richardson, TX has a production running in their Space at UTDallas Theatre. December 15 - 17. The People's Light and Theatre Company of Malvern, PA, runs an adaptation written and directed by Tazewell Thompson. November 22 - December 31.
