something of a revival in the last few years, and thanks to the efforts
of his many fans, friends, and musicians like Mr. Jansson here, perhaps
the years to come will see Blitzstein get the recognition as the major American
composer they (we) believe he is.
A few odd coincidences between these two web sites: John Jansson, creator of the Blitzstein site, was musical director for a recent revival of Morross's The Golden Apple; and Bernard Herrmann, who conducted Morross's early concert work, also conducted the premiere of Blitzstein's radio-musical, I've Got the Tune.
