Great Britain's Northern Ballet Theatre tours a ballet version. In Sheffield, 16-20 November; in Leeds 23-27 November. Portland Center Stage (Portland, OR), offers a "lavish" production, in a version adapted by Elizabeth Huddle. November 28 - December 28. ProgramsNow presents an audio-on-demand "radio-play" version, performed by Focus on the Family Radio Theatre. (Listening requires the RealAudio player.) Rock-Paper-Scissors Productions performs their unique adaptation, A Twisted Christmas Carol, at the Firehall Arts Centre, in Vancouver, Canada. December 8 - January 1. Phil Grecian's adaptation is presented by the Sam Bass Community Theatre of Round Rock, TX, directed by Lynn Beaver. December 10 - 18. San Diego Repertory Theatre's (CA) version runs November 27 - December 24. Sonoma County Rep of Sebastopol and Santa Rosa, CA presents a version (in Santa Rosa), directed by Jim dePriest. November 19 - December 18th. In Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, Theatre Aquarius showcases John Huston in a one-man version. December 7 - 13. David Holman's version is presented by Theatre By The Lake (Keswick, Cumbria, England, UK) features local schoolchildren. 3 December - 8 January. Raleigh, NC is the home of Theatre in the Park, whose 1999 production celebrates its 25th year. Adapted by Ira David Wood, it runs December 7 - 15. Trinity Rep of Providence, RI, has a double-cast production, with the kids quadruple-cast (for a total of 24). November 12 - December 26. The Ulster Ballet Company presents their version at the Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, NY. (They invite you to visit one of their sponsors, the Dickens Restaurant in Poughkeepsie.) December 3 - 5. The Vanguard Theatre Ensemble of Fullerton, CA presents something called The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of 'A Christmas Carol' by David McGillivray &Walter Zerlin Jr. Vpstart Crow's New Dominion Shakespeare Festival of Regina, VA, makes their first stab with a new adaptation.
