An "all-volunteer" radio show version is presented by the community group Every Now and Then Theatre of Camarillo, CA, adapted and directed by Linda Stiegler and James Wortman, with live sound effects performed by Oxnard High School students. Officially the State Theatre of North Carolina, the Flat Rock Playhouse (Flat Rock, NC), performs Christopher Schario's adaptation (with traditional carols). December 2 - 12. Florida State University School of Theatre's (Tallahassee, FL) version features alumni Henry Polic II as Scrooge. November 21 - December 8. Ford's Theatre of Washington, DC, hosts their annual version. November 20 - January 2. The Globe Theatre of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada presents their version, adapted by Blake Heathcote and Lezlie Faith Wade, directed by Michael Kennard. December 8 - 22. Chicago, IL's The Goodman Theatre performs their adaptation again this year. November 13 - January 2. The Haymarket Theatre of Basingstoke, Hampshire, GB perform Kate Dove's adaptation. 10 December - 15 January. Hartford Stage (CT), presents a version. Indiana Repertory Theatre's adaptation by Tom Haas runs at their theatre in Indianapolis, IN. November 20 - December 26. Michael Bradshaw directs and stars as Scrooge in a one act version adapted by Christopher Schario (backed with an adaptation of The Night Before Christmas) at Lyric Stage in Boston, MA. November 27 - December 20. American Express and Theater at Madison Square Garden (New York, NY) present their annual musical version, adapted by Lynn (Ragtime) Ahrens and Mike (Me and My Girl) Ockrent who also directed, with music by Alan (Beauty and the Beast) Menkin, and lyrics by Lynn (Anastasia) Ahrens. Choreographed by Susan (Big) Stroman. This year's Scrooge is Tony Roberts and Reginald VelJohnson plays the Ghost of X-mas Present, with Didi Conn as the Ghost of X-mas Past. Ends December 30.
