As a kind of follow-up to last
week's article on how to find a theatre training program on the net,
here's a short list of some of the schools I've come across. Their inclusion
here is not intended as an endorsement of their programs by any means; the
schools were chosen because:
- Of their existence on the web
- Of their high visibility
- Of their size
- Of their generally acknowledged excellence
- I know someone attending or on the faculty, or who had attended
or used to be on the faculty
- They had an excellent web site
- I found them
- I liked the location somehow (e.g., they were in Australia)
Some of the best known and finest schools have some of the dorkiest websites,
while some schools I had only heard rumors of had some of the best sites. Remember: an excellent web site doesn't necessarily make for an excellent
training program (although it doesn't preclude the possibility). Nor does
its location in Australia.

Even if you attend a completely different school than those listed (perhaps
even one outside of Australia), attending a college is often credited with
