Are You Epicurious? or The Marjoram That Wouldn't Die

The ratings system for recipes on this site is really great, because people can rate recipes on a scale of four forks, as well as leaving comments, which is useful for finding out what people really liked or didn't like about a dish, or if they substituted anything. It's like collaborating with cooks from around the world.

This site also includes some content from the magazines Bon Appetit and Gourmet, as well as information and recipes from the Epicurious television show (shown on the Travel Channel and Discovery Home and Leisure, among others).

There's also videos, slide shows of different recipes, food features, a travel section based on Conde Nast's travel magazines, and a huge "shop" section, which is largely composed of links to other Web sites. If this site has any faults, its that there are lots of really big, rather annoying ads, especially on the home page. Ignore them, and let the navigation bar under the logo be your guide.

So what about that marjoram? This article is dedicated to that miraculous plant because even now, after two snow storms, not being watered for about three months and the slow (and sometimes not so slow) demise of all the other herbs, it is still alive and thriving behind the brick wall. Maybe I should go look for some more recipes.
