TALES FROM THE WEST TEXAS DUST

"COWBOYS, JUDAISM, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT..." SERIES: AN INTERVIEW WITH RABBI MARTY COHEN (PART II)

101 (CRH): Also--I noticed that you bear the unique characteristic of both being Jewish and also being a Texan. Someone might think that this is a very big contradiction/paradox in itself. How do you reconcile the two and in what ways does being each complement/conflict with each other?

Cohen:

101 (CRH): What do you personally see for the future of Messianic Judaism in both Texas and the rest of the nation? What do you think lies ahead for it?

Cohen:

101 (CRH): What do you think it will take for those in the Messianic Jewish community to possibly get the full-fledged respect of BOTH evangelicals and other Jews? What will it take for Messianic Judaism to come out of an image of what some might see (at best) as that of being a stepchild to both faiths?

Cohen:

101 (CRH): What might the similarities and differences be between Messianic Judaism and other denominations? [(Ex.) Worship styles, rituals, special doctrines, etc.]

Cohen:

101 (CRH): If other Messianic Jews had the same voice as you do and were allowed to say one thing that they want the rest of us to hear, what would they most want to say? What point(s) would they wish to get across?

Cohen:
