frame and Wilson's Power Hole elongated grommets. This is the first time
Wilson has combined these two features in a midsize frame. The results are
impressive! Available in two headsizes.
Titanium 7.0 Stretch
Here's a great value in a Hammer racquet. Offering impressive
maneuverability and control, the Hammer Titanium 7.0 is a good choice for
4.0+ players who like lightweight racquets and provide their own power.
Available in midplus and oversize.
7.3 Titanium Stretch
Here's a Hammer that will get second glances on the court. The Hammer
Titanium 7.3 features a simulated wood-grain upper hoop for a
futuristic-retro look. Best suited for 4.0+ players who prefer a head-heavy
racquet, the Hammer 7.3 provides low-medium power. Available in two
headsizes and lengths.
Sledge Hammer Series
- Hyper SledgeHammer 2.0
The first racquet to feature Hyper Carbon technology, the SledgeHammer 2.0
features two oversize choices with head sizes at 115 (8.3oz. strung) and 125
(8.9oz. strung). They aren't intended to appeal to all players. They have
more power than most of the new titanium racquets without sacrificing
maneuverability, and they are lighter and more maneuverable than the few
racquets that have as much power as they do. These are two of the best ultra
light weight power racquets on the market. If you can live without titanium,
the 2.0 has a lot to offer. With an obvious high power level, players with
slow swing speeds and shorter, compact strokes will primarily benefit.
ProStaff Series
- Hyper ProStaff 5.0
Designed for players who prefer traditional feel in a head light racquet,
the Hyper Pro Staff 5.0 is ideal for players with a full stroke style and
moderate swing speed. It comes in a 95" head size, traditional 27"
length, and weighs 12.3 ounces strung. One of the featured Wilson frames on
the professional tour, players like Sandrine Testud and Irina Spirlea play
the Hyper ProStaff 5.0.
- Hyper ProStaff 5.0 Stretch
Used by ATP Tour veteran Jonas Bjorkman, the Hyper ProStaff 5.0 Stretch
combines the smooth balance of a classic racquet with new Wilson technology.
Just a 1/2 inch longer than its brother, the Hyper ProStaff 5.0 Standard,
the 5.0 Stretch comes in two head sizes -- 95" and 110", and weigh
12.4oz. and 12.1oz. respectively (strung). Players with a full stroke style
and moderate swing speed, who prefer head light balance for optimum control,
should consider a test drive.
- 6.0 Original
Pete Sampras' racquet. Enough said? Available in 85 and 95 head sizes,
