"Raising Dad" was created by Jonathan Katz ("Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist"), who is also the executive producer along with Norman Steinberg ("Blazing Saddles," "My Favorite Year," "Doctor, Doctor," "Cosby").

"Emmy, Peabody and CableACE Award winner [Katz] brings his heralded wit to this new comedy, which was developed with the support of the Family Friendly Forum's script development fund," according to the WB's own web site. "Between family melodrama and the traumas of teenhood, there is little sanity in sight."

"Raising Dad" airs Fridays at 9:30/8:30c on the WB.

Episodes reviewed include Nov. 2nd and the pilot.
