This week in television history: We have a rare "2 for 1" special as two television versions of "Buck Rogers" figure prominantly this week in television history.

"Buck Rogers" first premiered on the ABC network on April 15, 1950. Kem Dibbs played the space hero in the 1950 season and was replaced by Robert Pastene in 1951.

"Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" had its final airing on the NBC network on April 16, 1981. Gil Gerard played Buck in this version. Erin Gray played the tough but beautiful Col. Wilma Deering. Veteran voice actor Mel Blanc supplied to voice of Twiki, a C-3P0 rip-off, during the 1981 season.
