Veteran Star Robert Urich Passes AwayThe television industry lost one of its most beloved performers this week when actor Robert Urich passed away. Urich had starred or co-starred in an incredible number of television series over the years, the most popular probably being “Soap,” “Vega$” and “Spencer For Hire.” Urich, 55, had been battling a rare form of cancer for some time now. He was very open about his disease. He spoke openly about it and dedicated his last few years to educating the public about the fact that many people with cancer can go on and lead a normal life. He also established a cancer research center at the University of Michigan and had recently donated $150,000 of his own money to the cause. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that anyone wishing to make a donation in Urich’s memory to send their money to the cancer research center in Michigan.
