Television Offers Viewers Holiday Treats©
According to the pundits, many people will be staying at or close to home this holiday season. In case you are looking for something to do with friends and family, here are some of the television viewing highlights for the week beginning November 23rd. All times are Pacific Standard Time. Check your local listings for the exact time in your area. Enjoy.
Friday, November 23rd 'N Sync: The Atlantis Concert, CBS, 10 - 11 p.m. The teens and kids in your family will enjoy watching the popular singing group perform many of their biggest hits. Heck, you might even too if you watch it with them. Saturday, November 24th Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, CBS, 8 - 9 p.m. The perennial animated favorite is back. The late Burl Ives provides the voice of the storyteller. It's A Wonderful Life, NBC, 8 - 11 p.m. Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed star in Frank Capra's classic tale about love and despair at Christmas. Sunday, November 25th The Phantom Menace, FOX, 7 - 10 p.m. The force, not to mention the ratings, will surely be with the Fox network as they broadcast this first episode of the "Star Wars" series. Monday, November 26th The Weakest Link, NBC, 8 - 9 p.m. Cast members from several of the "Star Trek" television series face off to find out who is the weakest link. Carol Burnett: Show Stoppers, CBS, 10 - 11 p.m. Cast members from the classic Carol Burnett show (1967 - 1979) reunite and share clips and outtakes from the comedy/variety series. Tuesday, November 27th 24, FOX, 9 - 10 p.m. Jack (Keifer Sutherland) tries desperately to find his missing teenage daughter and simultaneously prevent the assassination of a presidential candidate. Wednesday, November 28th Malcolm in the Middle, FOX, 8 - 8:30 p.m. Malcolm develops a crush on a girl and goes into an academic tailspin. Elton John: Greatest Hits Live!, PBS, 10 - 11 p.m. The Grammy-winning singing performs many of his greatest hits in this PBS special presentation. Thursday, November 29th Quest for the Ring, FOX, 8 - 8:30 p.m. This special offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the upcoming fantasy film "The Lord of the Rings." Will and Grace, NBC, 9 - 9:30 p.m. "Cheers" alumnus Woody Harrelson guest stars in this repeat of the Emmy-winning comedy series.
