CORRECTION: Before I get to the meat of my column, I have a correction to make. In last week¹s column I stated that the WHO SHOT JR? episode of CBS tv¹s DALLAS was the most watched regular series episode in television history. I was wrong. That honor belongs to another CBS series - the final episode of M*A*S*H. Thanks to reader Creed Stonegate, author of Image Sources, for bringing this fact to my attention.

As a writer, my goal is to be fair and factual - and I blew it last week. I will redouble my efforts to see that it doesn¹t happen again. Now, on to the fun stuff.

TV DADS Father¹s Day is fast approaching and I need your help. My upcoming Father¹s Day column is going to be a tribute to great tv dads - past and present. I have my own opinions on the subject but I¹d like to get yours as well.

Who are some of your favorite tv dads? Who is your all-time favorite tv dad? Which tv dad most reminds you of your dad? Who is your least favorite tv dad?

If you have any thoughts on this subject, I¹d appreciate it very much if you¹d share them with me via e-mail or in our discussion group. If you¹ll permit me, I¹d like to share some of your comments in my special Father¹s Day column. Thanks in advance for participating.

Speaking of reader polls, the May 16 issue of TV GUIDE has an article celebrating the best of CBS-TV over the years. It is entitled THE BEST OF CBS and lists the results of their reader poll on favorite CBS series and characters. Some of the winners include:

Favorite CBS Comedy Series - M*A*S*H Favorite Boss - Colonel Sherman T. Potter, M*A*S*H Favorite Gunslinger - Marshall Matt Dillon, GUNSMOKE Favorite Western - GUNSMOKE Favorite Daytime Series - THE YOUNG AND RESTLESS

I¹ve added some links this week to web sites which feature most of the series and characters which were featured in the article. Enjoy.

WARNING...DANGER WILL ROBINSON Fellow Suite 101.COM editor Robert Smithers is featuring a fascinating talk given by actor Jonathan Harris (aka Dr. Smith from the classic Irwin Allen tv series LOST IN SPACE). Robert has done an excellent job of transcribing a talk given by Harris at MegaCon. You can find his multi-part article in the comic book section of Suite 101.COM. I¹ve also provided a link on my top 5 rankings.

SEASON ENDERS Here are more season ending episodes of various tv series which are airing this week. I¹ve also included a worthy special or two.
