Thursday, September 7th MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, 8 - 11 p.m., PST Shawn and Marlon Wayans host the 17th annual awards show. ER, NBC, 10 - 11 p.m., PST Former regular George Clooney has a cameo in this repeat which finds nurse Carol Hathaway leaving the ER.
