CBS Television is in hot water with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) over an incident that occurred on the LATE LATE SHOW WITH GREG KILBURN. It seems that during the time the show was running footage of Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush the words "snipers wanted" appeared on the screen.
THE OUTER LIMITS MAY RETURN...AGAIN The Showtime cable network is promoting the end of their updated version of the television classic THE OUTER LIMITS. Prior to the broadcast of the final episode, Showtime is running a marathon of episodes scheduled for early September. The series may yet make another return from the grave, however. Word has it that the producers of THE OUTER LIMITS are in negotiations with The Sci-Fi Channel to produce original episodes for that network once the series runs its course on Showtime. Stay tuned... WB Announces New Kids Lineup: The WB network has announced their new Saturday morning line-up to debut on September 9th. The schedule kicks off (literally) with the new animated series JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURE. It is followed by MEN IN BLACK, BATMAN BEYOND and MAX STEEL. Joining the WB lineup will be STATIC SHOCK and POKEMON: THE JOHTO JOURNEYS. TOP TEN TV RELATED WEBSITES: Last week I promised you reviews of the top ten television related websites according to PC Data Online. Only 9 sites worked as of August 4th, however.
