Greetings, television fans! Believe it or not, some television series are already offering repeats and the season is only two months old! Here are my television viewing picks for the week of October 30th.

Saturday, October 30th SCOOBY-DOO ON ZOMBIE ISLAND, Cartoon Network, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m., PST This 1998 made-for-tv movie finds Scooby and the gang coming across a haunted mansion in the Louisiana Bayou. Fun for the entire family.

PRETENDER, NBC, 9:00 - 10:00 p.m., PST Jarod looks for a missing teenager.

Sunday, October 31st THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM, American Movie Classics, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., PST Vincent Price stars in this version of the Edgar Allen Poe classic tale.

ANYA'S BELL, CBS, 9:00 - 11:00 p.m., PST Della Reese (TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL) stars in this tv movie about the friendship of a blind woman and a 12 year old boy in a small town in 1949.

Monday, November 1st MACGYVER, WGN, 8:00 - 9:00 p.m., PST Rich Little, James Doohan (Scotty from STAR TREK) and Dick Butkus star in this episode of the classic adventure series.

TAXI, NICK-AT-NITE, 9:00 - 9:30 p.m., PST The Taxi regulars take a taxi to drive Alex to Miami to see the daughter he hasn't seen in 15 years.

Tuesday, November 2nd BUFFY, THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, WB, 8:00 - 9:00 p.m., PST Buffy is introduced to a beer which literally has a demon kick to it.

JUDGING AMY, CBS, 10:00 - 11:00 p.m., PST Amy presides over a custody battle between the foster parents and paternal grandmother of a child.

Wednesday, November 3rd TAXI, NICK-AT-NITE, 9:30 - 10:00 p.m., PST Louie's mom is sent off to a rest home in this touching episode of the classic comedy.

LAW AND ORDER, NBC, 10:00 - 11:00 p.m., PST Julia Roberts guest stars in this repeat episode.

Thursday, November 4th SCENT OF A WOMAN, USA Network, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m., PST Al Pacino gives a standout performance as a bitter and blind war veteran.

DIGANOSIS MURDER, CBS, 8:00 - 10:00 p.m., PST Dick Van Dyke plays a dual role in this special two hour episode: Dr. Mark Sloan and a vicious mob boss.

Friday, October 5th BOY MEETS WORLD, ABC, 8:00 - 8:30 p.m., PST Cory and Topanga finally tie the knot. Part one of two.

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS, HBO, 10:00 - 11:00 p.m., PST A profile of legendary sports broadcaster Howard Cossell.
