The New Fall Season Is Almost Here!

© F. Colin Kingston

Fans of television take note - the summer are almost over and I need your help. In no time at all the 6 broadcast networks and most of the cable networks will begin unveiling their new fall television season.

Try as I do, I can never watch episodes of every new series before some nervous network executive cancels some due to low ratings. This is where you come in.

I am looking for some Suite101.Com readers to review some of the new fall television shows. I'd like the review to be at least 50 words in length and you will be free to state your own opinions, even if it is contrary to a review that I may have written.

Anyone wishing to take a stab at reviewing some of the new fall television series is invited to e-mail me at CKingston@aol.com for further information. You pick any new series that you like. (You can pick more than one if you'd like though there is no obligation.) Here is your chance to share your opinions with your fellow Suite101.Com members. I hope to hear from you soon.

This Week in Television History:August 24, 1979: THE FACTS OF LIFE premieres on the NBC television network. The series starred Charlotte Rae as headmaster Edna Garrett at a prestigious all-girls school back east. The series was a spin-off from another successful NBC sitcom entitled DIFFERENT STROKES. A young Molly Ringwald was one of the girls in the first season.

Here are my television viewing recommendations for the week beginning August 20th. Enjoy!
