This Week In Television History:Legendary Hollywood cowboy Gene Autry was literally ³back in the saddle again² on the CBS Television Network. The Gene Autry Show premiered on July 23, 1950 and ran for six seasons. Pat Buttram provided the comic relief as the loyal sidekick.

Sunday, July 24th ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD, ABC, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., PST Danny Glover and a pre THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN Joseph Gordon-Levittt star in this fantasy tale about a lonely boy¹s love of a baseball team.
