Unlike the major television networks, C-SPAN broadcasts these programs in their entirety. The public would never see most of these press conferences etc. if it were not for C-SPAN.
In my role as a television columnist at Suite101.COM I routinely receive press releases spotlighting the programming on various networks, including C-SPAN.
