Some People Don't Want to Save Private Ryan

CBS Angers CSI:NY Viewers: East coast viewers to the freshman hit "CSI:NY" flooded CBS with angry calls after the network news division interrupted the program to announce the death of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. Unfortunately for "CSI:NY" fans, they did it just as this week's murder mystery was about to be solved.

CBS has since apologized. They blamed an "overly aggressive" news producer. (Apparently almost anyone at CBS has the authority to break into regular programming.) In an effort to appease angry fans, CBS will rebroadcast the entire episode of "CSI:NY," including the ending, Friday evening, Nov. 12, at 10 p.m. EST.

Ratings watch: Here are the ten most watched programs last week, according to Nielsen Media Research: 1. "CSI," CBS, 30.6 million 2. "Desperate Housewives," ABC, 24.6 million 3. "Without a Trace," CBS, 21.8 million 4. "Survivor: Vanuatu," CBS, 20.2 million 5. "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (8 p.m., Sunday), ABC, 20.18 million 6. "Lost," ABC, 18.7 million 7. "Cold Case," CBS, 17.7 million 8. "60 Minutes," CBS, 17.6 million 9. "E.R., NBC," 17 million 10. "The Apprentice 2," NBC, 16.1 million

Championship Soccer: The MLS airs their championship game Saturday, Nov. 13th on ABC. The championship match features DC United and 15 year-old phenom Freddy Adu against the Kansas City Wizards.
