NBC Goes for the Gold with Olympic Coverage"Laverne and Shirley" Stars Honored: Actress/comedians Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The two starred for many years in the popular sitcom "Laverne and Shirley" which, coincidentally, debuts on DVD later this month. Williams has continued acting since their "Laverne and Shirley" days while Marshall has gone on to direct feature films such as "Big" and "A League of Their Own." Also in attendance were Marshall's brother Gary Marshall (creator of "Happy Days" and "Laverne and Shirley") and "Happy Days" star Henry Winkler. Both actresses said they were very proud to receive the honor. Added Marshall, "We never got any Emmy's so this is great."
