This week in television history: Prior to finding fame and fortune on "Friends," Courtney Cox co-starred in "Misfits of Science." The program debuted in October of 1985 and had its final airing on February 21, 1986.

The misfits were a group of young people with extraordinary powers, sort of a poor man's version of "X-Men." Cox played Gloria Dinallo, a reformed delinquent who had telekinetic powers.

Dean Paul Martin was the star of the show and the best known cast member at that time. Son of the famed singer/actor Dean Martin, Dean Paul played Billy Hayes, an idealistic scientist who worked at the scientific institute where the "misfits" lived. Final thoughts: Do you have a television related Web site that you'd like me to review? Do you have a television related trivia question that you'd like me to answer? If so, drop me a line at ckingston@aol.com I'd love to hear from you. Until next week, happy viewing!
