A TRULY AMAZING STORY Fans of science fiction literature were saddened with the demise of a magazine called AMAZING STORIES a few years ago. It was the oldest science fiction magazine in the business and published the first stories of many of the top authors in the genre.

What does this have to do with television you ask? Well, AMAZING STORIES is back - this time with a twist. In addition to featuring top-notch science fiction, it now also features short stories about the characters from some of your favorite science fiction television series.

Their Summer 1998 issue features two short stories based on STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION. LAST WORDS by A.C. Crispin and ON THE SCENT OF TROUBLE by John Gregory Betancourt are both well worth the read. Future issues of AMAZING STORIES will contain short stories based on other favorite science fiction series as well. And don1t just check out the TREK stories. There are some other good ones in there as well.

ATTENTION LOS ANGELES AREA READERS The September 20th LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION has two presentations of interest to television viewers.
