If you like make-believe or real-life horror stories than the A&E cable network is the place to be. They have several programs this week that tie into make-believe and real-life horror.

Saturday, October 25, 2003 10-11pm -- Crossing Jordan - Strangled The morgue staff goes back in time to investigate the case of the Boston Strangler, hoping to find the true identity of the killer. With Jill Hennessy, Ken Howard, and guest star Jerry O'Connell. Monday, October 27, 2003 8-9pm -- BIOGRAPHY® - Janet Leigh Interviews with daughter Jamie Lee Curtis, former husband Tony Curtis, Jerry Lewis, Peter Bogdanovich, and Robert Wagner highlight this profile of the actress who gained screen immortality in the famous shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho." 10-11pm -- CITY CONFIDENTIAL® - Horror in Amityville After six members of the DeFeo family are murdered in their home in Amityville, New York, by the oldest DeFeo son, George and Kathy Lutz move into the house and claim to experience a series of bizarre, supernatural events. They write an account of their experiences and the tale becomes the basis for the famed movie "The Amityville Horror." Narrated by Paul Winfield. Tuesday, October 28, 2003 8-9pm -- BIOGRAPHY® - Linda Blair Profile of the actress who suffered bad press, unfounded rumors, and even death threats after she starred in the ultimate horror movie, "The Exorcist." Includes an interview with the film's director William Friedkin and rarely seen behind-the-scenes footage from the film. Wednesday, October 29, 2003 8-9pm -- BIOGRAPHY® - Jamie Lee Curtis Life and career of the daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. Traces her rise from early slasher movies to stardom in "True Lies" and "Trading Places." Includes interviews with her mother, directors, and Jamie herself. 9-10pm -- AMERICAN JUSTICE® - The Yosemite Killer traces the complex development of a serial killer, and shows how one tragedy became two. When Cary Stayner was 10 years old, his younger brother Steven was abducted from his family by a sexual predator and was missing for seven years. But while brother Steven's daring escape and return home made him a media darling, Cary remained stuck in the shadows that had already been taking root in his mind. What makes serial killers? Is it their environment or are they born that way? In the case of Cary Stayner, a human predator known as the Yosemite Killer, some argue it was both. Cary was plagued by psychoses, unable to resist violent fantasies that had been with him since he was a child. He had also lived through the life-changing tragedy of his brother's abduction.
