Work-At-Home Job Announcements: How and Where to Find Them

May 11, 2001 - © Leslie Truex

Some rules to remember are:

1) Never pay money for a job...ever. Legitimate employers never charge to hire you.

2) Get all information regarding the job and contract for work in writing.

3) Use consumer protection sites such as the Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov) to research the company. You can find other resources listed in the Consumer Protection links area of this site.

Don't give up on finding a work-at-home job. Use the job resource sites listed here and follow the guidelines above to find legitimate work-at-home jobs.
