 Establish boundaries around your work and play time. Get them involved in an activity while you work and let them know that you aren't to be disturbed except in an emergency. You may need to define "emergency" as a simple dispute over a toy can be construed as an emergency to a child.

 Set up a playgroup co-op with your friends. Each friend can take a turn watching the children while the other parents take care of any activities or errands.

Don't run yourself ragged trying to create a festive holiday season at the risk of your sanity. With organization and planning, you can work and celebrate stress-free this holiday season.
