X-Men is a very violent animated cartoon about a group of mutants fighting to save the world. However, not every mutant is good. Half of the people the X-Men fight are evil mutants.
There are countless characters, so I’m only going to name the most common. Their names are Charles Xavier, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Gambit, Jubilee, Morph, Beast, Jean Grey, Magnito, Apocalypse, Sinister, Juggernaut, and Sabertooth. Charles Xavier is the founder of the school for gifted humans. He teaches mutants old and young how to manage their mutant powers. Xavier is the world’s most powerful psychic on earth, and one of the best leaders. Wolverine is probably the most well known X-Man, and one of the most bloodthirsty. Even though he’s a good guy, his comrades often hold him back from ripping everybody to shreds with his steel claws. He possesses healing powers, which allow him to take an immense amount of physical damage, and then come back in a few minutes to fight some more. Cyclops is the field commander of the X-Men, and one of the most passionate X-Men. He often stops the others from doing something because it would cause them pain. Cyclops has a peculiar power, he can shoot laser beams out of his eyes. He wears special ruby glasses to curb the destructive energy. Storm is the second-in-command of the X-Men, and is one of the few women on the team. Storm has, as you might have guessed, the power to control the weather. Despite that power, and her seemingly cool-headedness, she has a hard time keeping her fury and frustration pented-up. Rogue is also one of the women, and the one with the most peculiar powers. She has the ability to fly, as well as super-strength, but the oddest is the power to absorb other mutants’ powers at the slightest tough. Because of that, she wears special gloves that allow her to touch her comrades. Gambit is a Cajun card-player, who tends to stick with his Cajun upbringing. He has the ability to charge objects with energy, until the point they explode. He carries a special deck of cards for just that purpose. Jubilee is a young girl, and the newest member of the team. She often tries to act tough, but usually gets into more trouble than she can handle. Her special power is the ability to shoot deadly fireworks from her hands. Morph is a rather young man, but a good friend of Wolverine’s. His ability is that of shapeshifting, so he often turns into a guard or something like that to infiltrate a site. Despite his frailty’s, he’s good in a fight and a good friend. Beast is the doctor in the X-Men team, and the one that’s most visibly a mutant. He resembles an orangutan, and his skin is pure blue. Beast tends not to fight, and prefers reading books and poetry. Jean Grey is the last of the women in the team, and the second psychic. Her psychic abilities are very powerful, but can hardly hold a candle to some psychics like Xavier. During the series, Jean and Cyclops get married, and live the life of a couple as much as they can, when they’re not being called into battle. Go To Page: 1 2
