Dungeons & DragonsDungeons & Dragons is a cartoon about Teenagers that get sucked into a magical realm, full of magic, mysticism, good and evil. The graphics and lines are the same type as Scooby Doo, where one person talks at a time, while the others stand frozen, not moving. There are several main characters, and they gain different names when they get sucked into the strange world. Their names are Ranger, Magician, Cavalier, Barbarian, Thief, Acrobat, Dungeon Master, and Venger. Ranger is the oldest and the leader of the group. With his magical bow and arrows, he can do amazing things, like capture or destroy enemies, or create a trampoline, or even give the group a rope with which to swing across a canyon or river. Magician is, obviously, the magician, and can create some of the weirdest spells out of his hat that you've ever seen, such as a trash can lid, or a cuckoo clock. While small of stature and strength, he is probably the smartest of the group. Cavalier is the scaredy cat of the group, and spends most of his time cowering behind his magic shield. His shield is the strongest shield known to man, and can deflect any magic beam or attack, so long as he doesn't drop it. Barbarian is the smallest and youngest of the team of friends, but by far the strongest. When he swings his magic club, you better duck for cover or you'll be seeing stars. Thief is one of the two girls in the group. She has a cloak of invisibility, which allows her to slip undetected into nearly any fortress or enemy line. She may not be the strongest or the smartest of them all, but her cloaking ability is worth several armed men. Acrobat is the other girl, and is extremely agile. She can duck and dodge and jump to amazing heights, then fling her staff like a boomerang and knock you out cold. Dungeon Master is a little man that appears only so often to give advice, or show the group which way to go. However, you may have a hard time understanding him, for he speaks only in riddles. Venger is the ultimate evil being. He rules over the magical land, keeping the peasants in a state of fear. At times he appears to be to powerful to beat, but then you usually get a lucky blow in. The TV rating is Y7, and I agree with it. I would not let anyone under seven or eight watch it, because it's a rather violent show full of "Scary" creatures like Dragons, or other mythical beings.
