Toonami

Toonami is a two-hour block of action cartoons, on Cartoon Network. Toonami is on every weekday, and there are also other things like the Midnight Run, one hour of Toonami programming. Also, the Rising Sun, which is on Saturday morning, similarly has Toonami shows.

The shows on Toonami occasionally change, but I believe that the shows are currently Sailor Moon, Reboot, Dragon Ball Z, and Gundam Wing.

Sailor Moon is a pathetic show, revolving around a few girls that use their make-up, and things like that, to turn into Super Heroines. The Heroines, the Sailor Scouts, all have at least one thing in common; they're all boy-crazy, little kid-like wimps that have annoying voices and dress immodestly. The main characters are Serena, Lita, Amy, Raye, Mina, Luna, and Darien. The TV rating is Y7, and that's a little close to what I think it should be. Some of the creatures are a little scary, at least to little kids. The scout's clothes are skimpy, and there is a lot of violence. I recommend that parents watch at least four episodes before letting their kids watch it freely.

Reboot is a high-tech action show about people living inside computers. It's one of the first tv shows to be computer-generated. The main characters vary, because most of the populace in the system where the heroes live are droids, human-like robots. The most common characters are Fong, Bob, Dot Matrix, Enzo Matrix, and their dog, Frisket. The bad guys are Hexadecimal, her pet, Scuzzy, Megabyte and his robot henchmen, Hack and Slash. The tv rating is Y7, and that's about right, because there's a significant amount of violence. It's not really gory violence, just mostly things blowing up. What parents should watch for are the occasional immodest clothes. Some parents wouldn't want their kids watching it, so for the first few episodes I recommend that the parents stay and watch.

Dragon Ball Z is a very strange show, with a variety of different characters, both good and bad. Those characters are Goku, Chi Chi, Gohan, Krillin, Bulma, Kame, King Kai, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Nappa. Goku is Earth's strongest warrior, and has trained under King Kai to help his family when the Saiyons arrive. Chi Chi is Goku's wife, who trys to get their son, Gohan, to become a scholar. Gohan is Goku and Chi Chi's son, who gets taken in by Piccolo to learn how to use his powers. Krillin is Gohan's buddy, and they usually go camping, or on adventures together. Bulma is a short-tempered girl who is really only useful for finding Dragon Balls and piloting vessels. Kame is Piccolo's better half (When he was a kid, his body split into two beings, one his good half, the other the bad) and often helps Goku when he's in trouble. King Kai is master of the martial arts of Kaio Ken. Piccolo is the bad half, and takes an interest in training Gohan. Vegeta is the strongest Saiyon, and wreaks havoc for Goku and his friends. Nappa is Vegeta's fellow Saiyon, and helps Vegeta to take over the Earth.
