The Jetsons

The Jetsons is a funny cartoon series about a family living in the future. On the series you see things that are a lot more different or advanced things like flying cars that fold up to the size of a briefcase. And there are things that were futuristic at the time this was created, but aren't now, like moving walkways and antigrav chambers.

The main characters are George Jetson, his boy Elroy, daughter Judy, Jane his wife (As I recite part of the opening song) Mr. Spacely, Mr. Cogswell, Astro, Rosie and Mrs. Spacely . George Jetson is the main character, and the series revolves around his mishaps adventures in everyday life while working for Spacely Sprockets. In most episodes, something weird happens, like Elroy becomes a TV star, or George accidently gets canine teeth. He usually winds up getting promoted to vice president, than he's fired, than he's hired again and is right back where he started. Elroy is the smart one in the family, and if he's not working on a science project or making a secret code for him and his friends, he's usually off playing with the dog, Astro. Judy is the rebellious teen-ager that gets crushes on movie stars, singers, and most cute boys. She enjoys dancing to the latest songs from et Screamer, a rock star, or dancing to any song with her friends in the anti-grav chamber. Jane is Georges hard working wife, that stays home and does the horribly exhausting job of pushing buttons all day long. While normally good humored, she can't stand it when George does something stupid, or lies to her. Mr. Spacely is George's touchy boss. It seems that every day he's firing or hiring Jetson, or competing with Cogswell, his rival. Mr. Cogswell is the owner of Cogswell Cogs. His day usually consists of competing with Spacely, or trying to steal Jetson from his rival. Astro is the Jetson's loving dog, that tends to stick with Elroy, although that's usually because he tends to be nice and affectionate to George, George usually doesn't return it. Rosie is the Jetson's robot maid, but they treat her like one of the family. Mrs Spacely is Mr. Spacely's wife, who is usually jealous of someone else, mostly the Jetsons.

The TV rating is Y and I totally agree with that. This a cartoon meant for kids and adults of all ages. Parents only need to watch about one or two episodes, first, but I'm pretty sure you'll find it clean enough.
