Space Ghost Coast to Coast is a hilariously funny cartoon/talk show about an intergalactic super hero with his own talk show. Along with Zorak and Moltar, he has stars make guest appearances. On the show, Space Ghost enjoys arguing with Zorak, blasting Zorak, yelling at Zorak, blasting Zorak, making odd jokes that nobody understands, and blasting Zorak.
Occasionally other characters make guest appearences, like Brak, a Fire Ant, BooBooKitty, Uncle Judy and Aunt Lars. The main characters are Space Ghost, Moltar, and Zorak. Space Ghost is a dim-witted super hero with an interesting vocabulary. While he appears to have a quick temper, since he is quick to lash at Zorak with his Destructo Ray, he's actually kind, caring, and really annoyed at Brak for trying to rule the galaxy. Moltar works the special effects, controls the monitor that the guests appear on, the music, the lights and the works of the set. Moltar was once the control worker for Toonami, but then the job was taken over by a new, hi-tech controller. While he is semi-loyal to Space Ghost, he tends to side with Zorak when there is a heated argument between the two. Zorak is a smart mouthed Mantis with an evil attitude. When he's not make crude remarks, laughing at Space Ghost, or plotting Space Ghost's demise, he likes to rap, mouth off and tell bad jokes.
The show is supposedly taped at Ghost Planet Industries, and you can bet your cape Space Ghost is gonna lose his temper and blow something up, like Zorak or the television set. The rating is G, and that's kind of close to what it should be. I don't think kids under nine or ten should watch or would understand it. For one thing, it's aired around eleven PM, when kids are usually in bed. I think that Preteens and early Teenagers would enjoy it most. Depending on how mature your kids are, you'll only need to watch about two episodes. (Besides, it only shows about twice a week.)
