The Jetsons is a futuristic show about an average family, living un-average lives. The main characters are George Jetson, Jane Jetson, Judy Jetson, Elroy Jetson, Mr. Spacely, Cogswell, Rosy and Astro.
George Jetson works at Spacely Sprockets, and Mr. Spacely is always firing him then rehiring him. Jane Jetson is George's wife, and is actually pretty normal, and she sometimes has to get George out of trouble. Judy Jetson is George's daughter, and likes to do things her own way. Elroy Jetson is George's son, and is really smart. He really likes science and math. Mr. Spacely is a grumpy man that is always trying to best his competitor, Cogswell. Cogswell is the owner of Cogswell Cogs. He tries to best Mr. Spacely. Rosy is the Jetsons robot, and she's kind of a ham. Astro is the Jetson's overeager dog, who hates to be left behind. In nearly every episode George finds something that he thinks is a lucky break. But then when everything is going smooth, something then turns wrong, he gets fired, a little while later he gets hired again. The show get's pretty boring after a while, because the plots are pretty much the same, and it doesn't really hold your attention. The only interesting characters are Astro and Rosy, and it's a stretch for Rosy. One of the biggest running gags is George always getting tickets for speeding because he's late for work. The TV rating is Y, and I agree with that. It's really a show for all ages. There's no violence, it's not scarey, and they never make crude jokes. There are also several Jetson movies, such as Jetsons meet the Flintstones. The movies are equally clean, and a lot more entertaining the show. So if you like the series, you'll almost definitely like the movies. I suggest that parents watch at least two episodes before they let their kids see it. Go To Page: 1
