Teen Pregnancy Options

There are several kinds of adoption procedures:

A. Accredited organizations: Accredited organizations (Agency Adoptions) will put the adopted family through careful screening processes. This is a great way of ensuring that the child will end up in a loving and safe home.

B. Independent Adoptions: This allows the biological parent to have some control of where the child will end up. This can be emotional and the biological parent will find it harder to have trust with the adopted parents.

C. Open Adoption: This adoption allows the adopted parent and the biological parent to keep in touch mainly through letters and photographs. The addresses between parents are not exchanged. The information is sent to the agency first.

It is important to educate yourself by calling an Adoptive Lawyer in your area. They will put everything on the table and explain in full detail your options and rights.

3. Keeping the baby: If you decide to keep the baby, one must evaluate the changes in their lives. Working, going or having to quit school, being unable to go out with friends, and family changes.

Whatever your options are, make sure your choice is what you truly want. The choices we make in life will be a choice we will have to live with for the rest of our lives.
