Suite University - Online Community Education Courses


Suite101.com has developed a new division to compliment their topics written by Contributing Editors, it's Suite University. It's a wonderful area full of community educational courses with nominal tuition fees.

The University is similar in it's style to Suite101.com in that it's set up in particular areas of interest, called schools. There are 18 schools as there are 18 sister Communities of Interest. Each school contains multiple different courses on the subject matter.

Courses are either two weeks in length or they are four weeks. Both types courses offer the option of interactive courses in which you can participate in online discussions of the subject matter and ask questions of the instructor. You can also choose the quick course which is strictly just the lessons without the instructor or discussions, so you can go at your own pace. The prices are extremely economical for any of the choices offered.

The Education School is an excellent option for homeschooling parents. Offering courses like How To Start Homeschooling, How to Homeschool Your Special Needs Child, Creating Dynamic Unit Studies and Teaching Writing to Children, with still more offerings.

For those who are interested in the Computers & Technology area there are numerous courses offered. Courses like Learn Basic HTML and Introduction to C Programming as well several other great choices.
