AOL’ s “Favorite Places” is a bookmarking system; a place to keep direct links to different websites that you like and want to visit often. It's relatively simple to use.
If you want to add a particular site to your Favorite Places, just double click on the little heart. A pop-up menu will appear and you give the options to Add to Favorite Places, Insert in Instant Message, Insert in Mail or Add to Menu Bar (in version 7.0; they may differ slightly in other versions). To put it in the Favorite Places, select Add to Favorite Places. The menu also gives you the option to Cancel in case you hit the heart button accidentally. Adding Favorite Links to the Browser Bar If you have three sites that you particularly like or visit very often, you will probably want to put them in the browser bar for easy access. By default, there are three different icons in this bar, to the right of the Favorite link. In version 7.0 they are Calendar, Radio and Quotes. These can be removed and replaced with sites of your choice. Place your mouse over the one you want to remove and right-click. Select Remove From Toolbar. In order to put something else there, simply use the mouse to drag and drop the little heart icon into that area. You will get the option to pick one of the icons AOL provides for the spot in the browser. Accessing Your Favorite Pages Once you have some Go To Page: 1
