As I come to the end of this review I find myself wondering which of these sites I liked the best. I can't answer that question. Learning About Leonardo has so many links that I didn't even get to look at ALL of them and I just loved that site. The ArtiFAQ 2100 was so full of art information that I spent almost two full hours reading and looking at all the different art posted there. For me to spend two hours at one site (other than Suite101.com) is amazing. I can't decide between the two of them. I know one thing for sure, my kids have got to see both of these sites. My son is really into texture and art creation. My daughter is a terrific artist for an advanced almost 8 year old. I know they will both love these sites. I am going to issue a challenge to them, chocolate/strawberry milk and homemade chocolate chip cookies to the kid/s who can answer the quiz at ArtiFAQ 2100. I better go start baking.
I hope that all of you will check out these sites. There is something for everyone at either site. I would also like to heartily thank Steve Feld for bringing these sites to my attention. I think each and every student who participated in these web site projects deserves a round of applause and pats on their backs! Congratulations to all of you! I hope you felt that this review was worthy of your sites.
NOTE*** It has been brought to my attention that I made an error in this article. The ArtiFAQ 2100 is the first place winner in the Microsoft Challenge. It is seperate from the Learning About Leonardo site. Sorry about this error, I hope does not affect anyone's desire to visit either site. :)
