Kitty Henry a wonderful gardener Back to the reality of 1998. Both gardens were threatened with bush fires after the particularly dry summer and the El Nino effect. Many of the plants enjoyed the dry conditions, others have been put under stress. I have photographed the summer flowers, the hydrangeas and the lovely berries that are forming on the Sorbus trees and the rose hips. Please come for a stroll along the paths and see the different Hydrangeas that are available to cheer the garden up in late summer and join the wild birds in taking pleasure in seeing the Winter berries forming on the branches of the fruit bearing plants. The photos take a little while, please be patient. To read the full story of the the country garden © Gay Klok ![]()
