The finding of a new specie of tree, the "Wollami Pine", in a secret area in New South Wales, Australia, which is perhaps a very ancient branch of the Pacific pines, makes us realise the cloning of endangered specie [*S*] is of utmost importance. The work that is proceeding now will enable the tree to live for another million years. Do write and tell me what your magical flower would be, it is a pleasant waste of time. This month, I am showing you photos of the plants that have given us much pleasure over the last two months but did not fit into the themes of my other articles. The Tree Paeony did exceptionally well as did the Iris family There are photos taken last weekend of the Astilbe and Euphorbia and the Day Lilies Take a moment to walk the paths again at "Kibbenjelok". You will see a small glimpse of the Christmas presents two of our children dreamt up to give us. They will give us great pleasure in the future gardening years as will the flowers that have been in bloom during our long hot summer days. Be patient while the photos download, I hope they are worth it Don't forget to tell me the results of your mind playing the "I am Mother [Person?]Nature Game", I would love to hear of your flights of fancy To read the full story of the the country garden © Gay Klok Click here to visit the other interesting Suite101 gardening topics Click here to read past articles Click here to read past discussions
