October Ramble

The willow catkins are not quite as obvious, but if you look closely you can see them. It's a really beautiful time of the year, and if we walk up through the town later you'll see a lot more flowers. Flowering cherry, guelder rose, limnanthus and marigolds are flourishing; the bluebells have nearly finished, but there should be some poppies. Over there to the right is the site of an old house. It was pulled down years ago, but you can see the oak tree that used to stand in the garden. Now it's out in the paddock and is practically the last thing left to show the house was there. Ah, here we are at the last gate. From this point we can turn right to visit the town or left to go straight home. What do you think? Yes? Well, the town it is. Come on!
