B is for - Boat Harbour, a pretty seaside town on the north west coast. Enjoy the sea, sun and sand in summer... but this is meant to be a page of B words, so we'd better not dwell on the sandy sunny seasons...

B is for - books! There are quite a few authors in Tasmania, so be sure to ask for their books when you visit the shops! David Rish, Damien Morgan, Anne Morgan and Sally Odgers are just a few names to look for. Here are a couple of pages where you can visit some of their books. http://www.netspace.net.au/~davidrish/ http://sallyodgers.50megs.com/Index.htm

B is for - Bothwell, a little town in the highlands of central Tasmania. Bothwell dates from the early 1800s, and is built on the River Clyde. It is sometimes said it got it's name from two men who lived, "both well", in the area. There's plenty to see at Bothwell, lots of historical interest... and watch out for the winter snow! See more at http://www.ausvillas.com.au/Attractions/...

Check it out at http://www.ausvillas.com.au/Attractions/...

B is for - Bruny Island. Bruny is down in the south of Tasmania, in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Named for the explorer Bruni D'Entrecasteaux, Bruny is one of the prettiests islands about. Breathtaking views... Visit it on-line at http://www.tased.edu.au/tot/s/bruny-text... or here; http://www.talune.com.au/waterways/bruny...

B is for - Burnie, the most westerly city in Tasmania. Burnie is on the north west coast, an industrial city with an open-water port. There's good shopping in Burnie, and lots of beautiful country walks (embellished with waterfalls and ferns) within a short drive of the CBD. http://www.australianexplorer.com/burnie...
