Tarot Corner http://www.tarotcorner.com Webmistress: Julia Lewis Type: Commercial Many of you have asked for more hints and tips about reading the cards. I say, "Why should I re-invent the wheel?" Instead, I will send you to Julia Lewis' excellent site, "Tarot Corner". That is not to say that more tips and hints won't be appearing here in the future, but for now, I don't want you to miss this resource. The Tarot Corner is updated regularly with new articles. Articles by Julia cover such subjects how to get instant impressions from the cards without having to memorize the meanings, how to obtain time information (like how long before something happens), and "why didn't the Tarot answer my questions?" Julia's suggestions, based on over 30 years of reading, are sensible and usable for newbies and long term readers alike. In addition both Julia and her guest columnists cover related topics, such as telepathy and "why learn to read Tarot"? Although I enjoyed the guest columnists, I enjoyed Julia's articles the most. The history article by a guest is long on speculation and short on facts. It is an enjoyable read, but don't take it as well-researched information! Check out the article archive and you'll find useful articles with fun ideas, such as using Trivial Pursuit cards for readings. The site mixes practicality with humor. Also available on the site are headlines of interesting Tarot-related news articles and a question and answer section. Both are fairly robust and well worth perusal. Other subjects on the site are still being developed, such as "Silly Section" and "Hints and Tips". They ask for contributions from readers. You can also vote in a poll on the content for the site, if you wish, or send direct suggestions. Readers are also asked to contribute to the overall support of the website. Julia also sometimes gives away free readings but the contest link wasn't working when I was on the site. The reason this site is classified as is commercial is that Julia sells a special report you can download named, "How to Read Tarot Cards (the Easy Way)". This report is sold as part of the Webseeds network set of special reports, so you can purchase it either separately or as part of a package of special reports. I haven't read Julia's report at this time. You can buy it for $4.95 and get a free reading thrown in, so I just might try it! The site also highlights Julia's personal Tarot decks, with pictures and a short description of each. You can click on the name and purchase them directly from Amazon.com. There are other advertisers on the site, but the advertisements are tasteful, related to the subject, and unobtrusive.
