For more than a decade, May 25th, the birthday of tap legend Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, has been celebrated as
National Tap Day.
Since President Bush signed the commemorative bill in 1989 , tap dancers around the world have gathered each May to pay tribute to a uniquely American art form. (See the legislation here:

Plan something yourself-host a mini film festival, get people together for a tap jam, or finally sign up for that summer workshop.

Dedicated to Sierra Light Foundation. Free, but donations are requested. Money goes to keeping community's play areas safe.
