and take note of all possible hazards. Don't paddle out at an unfamiliar break if nobody is surfing there, there's probably a reason. Then again, if everybody followed that rule of thumb, nobody would ever discover new breaks. But I didn't send you.

OKAY, now you're done. Surfed out. Too pooped to duck-dive another wave. Sit on the rocks and watch the waves for a bit. Drink some water. Stretch. Try to minimize you wetsuit tan and get some rest. Now are you sure you can't surf a little more. No? I understand, nobody likes putting that cold wetsuit back on. Well, then it's definitely time for a burrito.
